James Carnegie Postgraduate Scholarship for International Students at University of Aberdeen, UK

The University of Aberdeen is committed to delivering outstanding teaching and first class research, and to achieve that, we have put people at the heart of everything that we do.

The mission, objectives and targets outlined in our Strategic Plan are approved and monitored by the governance structure of the University Court, which has corporate and legal responsibilities, and the Senatus Academicus (Senate) which is responsible for the regulation and superintendence of teaching and the promotion of research.

There is one James Carnegie Scholarship available. The scholarship will provide £2,000 per annum towards the students' maintenance costs for the duration of the postgraduate degree course, whether that is a one year Masters, PhD (3 years) or Master by Research leading to a PhD (4 years).

The James Carnegie Scholarship is open to applicants holding an offer of admission for any campus-based one year, full-time postgraduate degree programme starting in September 2018 in one of the following Schools: School of Divinity, History & Philosophy; Education; Language, Literature, Music & Visual Culture; or Law.

Applicants must be classified by the University as Home/EU, RUK or Overseas for tuition fee purposes.
